Custom-built message products reaching select audiences, inside and across media platforms, complement our client’s core of leading business-to-business print publications, Web sites, and electronic newsletters. What’s more, each of these products gain substance from our client’s tightly defined demographics and our client’s superior databases. Finally, our client’s assets include full research capability as well as marketing and creative resources.

OPPORTUNITY

Our Client seeks a change agent who will work with the Publisher and Editorial Director and a team of veteran sales representatives to transform the division.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

· Strong sales leader with experience in identifying opportunities, creating compelling sales propositions, building new business and training team to do the same.

· Strong sales manager who sets goals, manages metrics and analyzes data critically to recommend new opportunities.

· Assist with divisional marketing and promotion programs as needed.

· Extensive travel to trade shows and in-territory sales calls.

IDEAL CANDIDATE

The ideal candidate is someone who will quickly identify opportunities, drive sales, and lead the team in growing the business.

· Strong sales management and sales skills.

· Sense of urgency, energetic leader.

· Marketer who can deliver strong promotional programs with compelling digital components to support sales efforts.

· A strategic thinker and someone who can execute.

· Quick assessor of talent.

· Resilient and tenacious executive who is not daunted by market conditions.

· BA/BS required
